1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ParkRequest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ParkRequest is a parking permit management platform that allows residential communities to manage guest and resident parking permits digitally. The Service enables property managers, residents, and security personnel to coordinate parking authorizations.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. User Roles & Responsibilities

4.1 Residents / Tenants

  • You may only request permits for properties where you are an authorized resident.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of guest and vehicle information you submit.
  • Misuse of the permit system (e.g., fraudulent permit requests) may result in account suspension.

4.2 Property Managers

  • Managers are responsible for appropriately reviewing and approving or denying permit requests.
  • Managers must handle resident data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • Managers may not use the platform to discriminate against residents.

4.3 Security Guards / Vendors

  • Guard and vendor accounts are granted by property managers and may be revoked at any time.
  • Data accessed through guard/vendor roles is confidential and must not be shared externally.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without authorization.
  • Share confidential resident data (addresses, license plates) obtained through the Service.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information including addresses and vehicle license plate numbers.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is the property of ParkRequest and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • All permit requests will be processed within a specific time frame.
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParkRequest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages from parking citations resulting from permit processing delays.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also request account deletion at any time, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10.1 Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirmation. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the types of data involved, and steps you can take to protect yourself. 11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which the Service operator is located, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
